Hey, I’m Chris! For the last 10 months, I have been traveling around the United States documenting historic skyscrapers through drone photography and digital art. Just a year ago I graduated from architecture school and started this project to uncover beautiful buildings from the early 20th century. It seems like buildings nowadays tend towards unremarkable glass boxes. The detail, character, and craft of these old skyscrapers should be a source of inspiration for buildings of the future.

The Highrises project is ongoing. Currently, I have documented much of the Northeast and West, but I still have a lot of traveling to do to share buildings from the Midwest and South.
